Accounts Payable Assistant

Job description

Municipal Operations and Consulting, Inc., is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant who has experience in accounting. This assignment is located in Oak Ridge North, Texas (a suburb of Houston, Texas).


Receiving, opening and logging invoices. Process payments and control expenses by verifying and reconciling invoices. Issue purchase order numbers to vendors and employees. Process employees expense reports. Answer vendors’ and employee inquiries. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
• Candidates will be asked to submit to a drug screen during the application process
• High School Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)

• Full medical, dental, vision available after 60 days
• 401(k) after 1 year of employment
• Paid holidays after 90 days
• Two weeks paid vacation after 1 year

Pay Rate
Depends on experience and based on qualifications
