JOB DESCRIPTION
Municipal Operations and Consulting is seeking to fill a position in the Customer Billing Department. This assignment is in Cypress, Texas (a suburb of Houston, Texas).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Re-Read Management: (Backup)
– Assist with entering re-reads into billing software system, as needed.
– Follow-up on outstanding re-reads with field staff, as needed.
– Work tasks from Task report (Enter reads, meter change outs, etc.), as needed.
Meter books: (Primary Responsibility)
– Analyze incoming district meter reads in Starnik.
– Create re-read reports and tasks, as needed.
Process Adjustment Requests: (Primary Responsibility)
– Work assigned adjustments, daily.
– Leak Adjustments
– Pool Adjustments
– Mis-Read Adjustments
– Split Bill Adjustments
Cross Train as Backup Support to Daily Beacon Updates:
– Generate reports in Beacon and Starnik.
– Import reads into billing management software.
– Investigate account activity and create tasks as needed.
Routing and Meter Change outs:
– Assigning a route and sequence to addresses not routed in Starnik.
– Creating meter change out tasks per the district’s requirements.
Answering Phone calls:
-Logging in to help with calls for designated hour and assist when asked with high call volume.

– Proficient in Word and Excel. (Will train in Excel)

Minimum Requirements
