To promote water conservation, residents are encouraged to reduce yard irrigation times during autumn, winter, and spring. This practice lessens the strain on the aquifer, allowing it to replenish naturally, and significantly reduces the risk of surface subsidence which can cause costly damage to public and private infrastructure.
Another smart and easy way we can all conserve water and save money is by upgrading to an electronic water meter (e-meter)—a proven technology we’re now piloting in our community.
