Fort Bend County MUD 140
Street(s) affected: Old River Ln 2603-2627
On Friday, March 21, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system Fort Bend County MUD 140 (PWS# 0790445) to issue a Boil Water Notice due to a hydrant replacement.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of Saturday, March 22, 2025.
If you have any further questions, please contact our Compliance Department at (281) 367-5511.
If a customer wishes to reach TCEQ, they may call 512-239-4691.
The district has completed the Lead and Copper Inventory. Through field investigation of the distribution system, it has been determined that the system has no lead service lines or galvanized requiring replacement service lines. The system has been determined as a non-lead community.
