Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On Friday, July 24, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system West Harris County MUD 5 (PWS# TX1013356) to issue a Boil Water Notice due to water line maintenance.

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of Saturday, July 25, 2026.

The district has completed the Lead and Copper Inventory. Through field investigation of the distribution system, it has been determined that the system has no lead service lines or galvanized requiring replacement service lines. The system has been determined as a non-lead community.
