Types of inspections MOC provides

Below is a list of inspections MOC provides:

  • Backflow – Inspection to ensure that the backflow is installed properly.
  • CSI – Examination of the private water lines to ensure there are no cross connections, potential contaminant hazards, and illegal lead materials. Current backflow test report is required.
  • Grease Trap – Required when facilities generate fats, oils, or grease because of food manufacturing, processing, preparation, or food service.
  • Health Inspection – Required inspection by the County for all retail food establishments, request form must be filled out and current backflow report is required.
  • Pre-lot – Verifying the placement of requested tap and any district facilities on the property.
  • Post-lot – Conducted after the tap and all other inspections are completed to ensure that the district facilities have been properly maintained during construction.
  • Sewer – Verifies the plumber properly tied into the districts line. This inspection should be done prior to lines being covered.
  • Storm sewer – We inspect Fort Bend and Montgomery County storm sewers. Harris County storm sewers are inspected by Harris County.
